Established in 2016, we're a fully-remote collective of creatives and certified Shopify Experts who specialise in Shopify store design, illustration and animation.
We’re a collective of creatives made up of Shopify designers/developers, animators and illustrators who collaborate on specific projects to offer our clients a range of services. We're also one of the first fully-remote Shopify agencies, based in Dorset and Sheffield.
As certified Shopify Experts, we specialise in Shopify theme design, development, SEO, Conversion Rate Optimisation and bespoke animation and illustration. All our services are provided by our team as we do not outsource projects. We enjoy working with independent businesses and charities who care about the products they make, the customers they make them for, and the communities they make them in.
Emma has been designing and building Shopify stores since 2014. Prior to starting Untethered Collective, she has worked in London web agencies and web teams at WaterAid and the National Portrait Gallery. She holds an MA in Electronic Communication & Publishing from UCL. She is a champion of small business and values companies prioritising sustainabilty and ethics over profits.
Leah holds an MA in Journalism at London College of Communication and has been published in Refinery29, Vogue, ID and Vice. Leah specialises in lifestyle content writing and currently writes for CNN style.
Mike specialises in illustration, character design, and 2D/3D animation. He has produced illustrations and animations for Google, Nike, Honda, Mastercard, UCL, The Guardian and Dorling-Kindersly.
Chloe specialises in storyboarding for explainer videos, character design, illustration and animation. She has created animations for Honda, First Direct, Age UK, Google and Mastercard, in additional to creating snapchat AR lenses and giphy stickers for brands on social media.
